I LOVE to read! It is my escape, my comfort, my inspiration, my love. Books are my constant companions. Many of the characters I meet become lifelong friends. Some of those friends I visit over and over again. I also love old movies, specifically Cary Grant. And I love The Chosen.
Below is a list of some of my favorites. I hope you find friends within these pages and shows as I have done.
The Chosen, called by Jesus Christ, created by Dallas Jenkins

If you haven’t watched it yet…stop what you’re doing and binge all 3 seasons! Then do it again! Guaranteed you won’t regret it!

So I absolutely love this book! It is set in Ireland, a country I’m hoping to visit soon (maybe even this summer!). I love this book so much- and there is so much going on in it- that I turned the last page and then opened the book to page 1 all over again. It’s that amazing!

I love books about WWII, especially about Nazi Germany. And I love books by Sarah Sundin! Best line of the book so far: “I told him words are my music…..”

I began 2023 with a desire to develop a consistent prayer life. I have always struggled with prayer. Like I know I need to do it, and I want to do it. But I could never really find a way to incorporate consistent prayer into my life. So I started this book and changed up my morning routine (don’t ask; it’s not for the faint of heart!). But this book was so inspirational to me! Life changing. Prayer changing. I did the 40-day prayer challenge with my daughters also…and wow. I highly recommend this book!
